We are delighted to see our Outline planning consent for 301 new homes on the former Rolls Royce site at Shaftmoor Lane, Birmingham gain planning consent. The site is located close to Spring Hill railway station, and through working with Homes England @homesengland and Cushman &
Wakefield, this scheme will provide a mix of one, two, three and four bedroom houses and apartments to provide for the local area.
Planning Approval for Hayloft Plants
Zebra are pleased to announce a planning approval for almost 20,000sqft of horticultural use, made up of a pack-house and canteen - just outside Pershore for Hayloft Plants. Overturning an officer’s recommendation for refusal, the team did a great job in putting a compelling argument together, resulting in a unanimous vote by members! Thanks to Addison Rees Planning Consultancy and Zebra Landscape Architects of course.
Some great news!
Due to increased workload across the Group,
Zebra are delighted to announce that they will be relocating their HQ offices
from Perdiswell into St Georges Square, Worcester during the Spring of 2020.
This is an exciting time for all areas of the Group with staff increases at
both Zebra Architects Limited and Zebra Landscape Architects Limited.
As a result Zebra’s current offices at Perdiswell are
currently being marketed by GJS Dillon who would be delighted to hear from any
businesses looking to move to a self- contained high quality office within easy
reach of the M5. Please contact Henry Burlison Churan on 01905 676169

A top down view
Great progress is being made on our scheme on Oldbury Rd, Broad Lea. United Living now have roads and foundations in place, ready for building above ground. This scheme of 24 dwellings is being built for Platform Housing Group, and this birds eye view shows what has been done in such a short space of time!
It’s beginning to look a lot like…..
The Speller Metcalfe team on site are progressing very well at Pickersleigh Grove. As the houses are gradually completed and handed over as part of the phasing, it’s beginning to look a lot like a place to live. 😊

The Former Iceworks Redevelopment
With the metal frames complete and the buildings watertight, work is progressing impressively both inside and outside on the 21 new apartments at the Former Iceworks. These apartments, which comprise Phaser 1 of the development are finished in natural slate with impressive brickwork, and will be heated by a ground source heat pump. They form the backdrop to the ongoing refurbishment and development of the former industrial frontage along Bromyard Road, which will see a further 33 apartments created in Phase 2. This is a fantastic project to be involved with, and we are enjoying tracking the progress.
Site Progress!
The residential scheme at Pickersleigh Grove in Malvern for 92 homes is progressing well on site for Platform Housing Group (formerly Fortis Living). Speller Metcalfe are well underway with the next batch of dwellings for handover and are doing a great job. As the construction phases progress, it’s really exciting to watch the project slowly become a great place to live.
